Fresh Movie Review: When I was a child, we had no cable, so I am intrigued by all the "sexy" films in the late night I saw the TV listings. The plots always seem to include any profession in a sexy (or his profession for sexy) blackmailed getting (often incorrectly identified included) and then to violence to achieve the status of violence. A sub-style associated with a significant psychological / psychiatrist who has a problem with a patient, giving the filmmakers an excuse to move out of some pop psychology. Now that I'm also can see what I want and the old, the allure of these films have lost, and the Impulse provided evidence that he ever does that interesting to begin with. I have all the characteristics common impulse described in the previous paragraph. The main character Clair (Willard Ford), an advertising manager, which brings them in contact with young and sexy (in fact, the film opens on three naked, writhing women on a photo shoot). Her husband, Jonathan (Angus Macfadyen, Titus), which is a big psychological works in a hospital and education, instead of making it rich in private practice. They develop a fantasy that when he is away on a shoot, they will appear as his hotel to the imaginary Roberto passionate sex with him. While away on business in San Francisco, Claire Roberto encounters in the hotel bar, and they get to his room to proceed. However, the morning after his sexy evening in the Big Apple, he gets a call from her husband. But her husband should be the next to your bed. He knows that the man next to him instead of her husband is not, but in fact a man named Simon. He forces the hotel rooms, with a mind of her husband of cheating itself. Simon, however, was not enough for Claire, and he begins to blame and blackmail them with threats of consequences. Eventually, he will have to fight back. Yes, the entire film is irrelevant. It is difficult to believe that two completely unrelated individuals will be indistinguishable from one in the eyes of their wives. Have been better if they want to drag out the old "Long-term lost twin" interpretation. On the cake is that chronic psychological between nothing to explain to Simon's status, or anything else in the film, but instead it's strong reputation. The film tries desperately to be sexy, writhing from the opening of cat and mouse that survived sexual Claire and Roberto also include the inch here and there, some nudity, but the film does not generate a lot of steam. Once we do not know Roberto Jonathan, sexy atmosphere disappeared, and less than the average of the film is a thriller. But in fact, we have seen all this before. Of course, the police received the wrong man, a certain confrontation in a different place, good and evil, certain of victory. * Yawn * The only positive thing I can say about the film is the way that acting above the average for a film this way. Willard Ford plays Claire, but as a devoted wife is totally failed, and his recovery from his hand a mistake is surprising degree of precision that I found. Angus Macfadyen, in the dual role is equally surprising. I enjoyed his work in films like Titus (heck, I would like to see in III), but I was surprised by the complete change in the gesture for each character he adopts. I see the role of all actors twins (twins or type characters), Macfadyen, convince me that the best two individuals are different, almost different enough to make me think they were played by different actors. Unfortunately, his performance is not good enough for, but any suggestion his film's death hard fans. Sony us in this film seems clear that a significant transfer of a lot better than the film deserves. The audio you will not be unconscious, but the job is done.
